Home sweet home...

Ah, another weekend at my mum's over with...lol. Not that I mind hanging out with my beautiful mum but I am really over all the packing and traveling while our house is being painted!! But at the end of every weekend I love to come home and see my house in a whole new light!!

As I said previously, we haven't done anything to the inside of this house since we bought it!! All of our time, energy and money...lol...has been concentrated on the outside. We have made a wonderful backyard for the kids to grow up in. But now we are turning our attention inside and it made me realise that while this has always felt like our house it is now starting to really feel like our HOME!!! I was never inspired to decorate or get creative with the powder blue walls that the previous owners loved...but lately I can't stop thinking of new ideas that I want to try out!!

A few examples are these and these...picture them framed and scattered along a wall. Love them!!!

So the office (craft room :)) is now back in working order...well, almost. I still have a few boxes to unpack but we have changed this room around in a big way and I need to come up with a few different storage ideas then I had previously. But I am able to get back to being crafty and I actually feel like doing a LO for the first time in months!!!

But today I am here to share my latest project from The Studio...so I will stop rambling on and do just that!!

This week we have a sketch for you to try out.
And here is my take on it.

I made this for my neighbour who gave birth to a beautiful blue bundle of joy the other week. I have to stop myself from constantly knocking on her door for cuddles. He is just so cute...hehehe.

Well, it is a rainy Easter/ANZAC day here and we have just said goodbye to hubby's cousin who spent some time with us over the last few days and Dam and the kids are snuggled up in front of the telly...so i think I might go with the LO mojo that I am currently experiencing...wish me luck :).

Thanks for stopping by...

This is really beautiful! You have mixed and matched the papers perfectly, and the doily and wrinkled ribbon soften up the grid pattern so nicely. You have some lovely creations!
